Main Purpose of the Role

This is a Housing Officer role within the Mobile Team based in Pullar House, Perth but will be required to provide cover in other localities when required.
You will work as part of a small team and will report to the Team Leader.
This is a busy, challenging and varied role providing comprehensive housing management services to tenants and residents within Perth and Kinross.
You will be expected to support tenants to ensure they are comfortable and secure in their homes and provide advice and guidance to help tenants sustain their tenancies and contribute to attractive, safe and sustainable neighbourhoods.
The role involves estate and tenancy management including neighbourhood, anti-social behaviour and environmental complaints, rent and arrears management, housing advice and information.
You will work Monday to Friday from 8.45am-5pm but will participate in a flexi scheme.
Skills & Experience Required
You must have a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work use, as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
Candidates should ideally hold a Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3/4 Certificate/Diploma in Housing Practice or relevant equivalent; have experience of working in housing and or related environment; be computer literate with proven IT skills.
You will need to be organised and structured in your approach to the role and be able to prioritise and react quickly to changing situations within appropriate timescales.
You must have the ability to support service delivery by undertaking a range of specialist tasks and activities to ensure effective delivery of services.
You will have knowledge and understanding of financial processes and transactions to process data and undertake a wide range of financial activities and ensure others follow the correct processes, procedures and regulations.
