The successful applicant should have, as a minimum, a NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent), with relevant construction experience, and professional qualifications (e.g. IOSH). They should also be experienced in undertaking site safety inspections, delivering training, have excellent communication skills and a thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Role responsibilities include:
* Conduct inspections on clients' construction sites or other workplaces
* Support and advise our clients on the H&S aspects of their businesses
* Review and development of safe systems of work
* Conduct workplace inspections and report findings
* Conduct investigations into accidents or incidents
* Deliver training and toolbox talks
* Attend site and office meetings
* Draft Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Role Requirements:
* Strong communication skills at all levels with client-facing experience
* A technically aware team player with experience providing health and safety support in the construction sector
* IT literate with proficient report-writing skills
* Full UK driving license is essential as role involves travel, primarily in south, south west and mid Wales, and potentially Bristol and south west areas.
Package:
Competitive salary offered, up to £47k plus company car and bonus. The offered remuneration will be dependent on the extent of experience, qualifications, and skill set.
