Salary: Grade 6, SCP 18 - 12, £29,269 - £32,076 pro rata, per annum

Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:00, Friday: 08:00 - 15:30 (Total - 37 hours)
We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible individual with relevant work experience to oversee the day-to-day management of the school’s inclusion team from September 2024. The role will involve working under the guidance of members of the school leadership team and closely with staff from across the school to deliver pastoral and learning support to learners sent to the Inclusion Room (IR) office.
You will receive and supervise learners excluded from or otherwise not working to a normal timetable. Working closely with our learners, you will advise and provide information to enable them to make choices about their own learning, behaviour, and attendance, as well as challenging and motivating learners, promoting and reinforcing their self-esteem.
A key part of this role is to support learners in accessing learning using appropriate strategies and resources. Patience, understanding, resilience, and a caring attitude, along with the ability to provide support and build positive relationships, are essential in this role.

The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
