Your Role
An opportunity has arisen for Maintenance Planner in Corby, UK. The main purpose of this role is the planning and scheduling required to ensure efficient execution of maintenance and reliability practices/programs/processes, proactive maintenance and repair, best practice application and continuous Improvement strategies. Your Responsibilities
1. Work within the Company Safety and Health guidelines.
2. Plan and schedule all required maintenance activities.
3. Perform field walks and discussions for approved work orders to determine the needed time, materials, crafts, and tools required.
4. Conduct continuous improvement activities such as Root Cause Analysis to improve the maintenance performance and best practices.
5. Take ownership of the CMMS, taking responsibility for the administration and effectiveness of the system.
6. Participate in the regular maintenance meetings ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
7. Lead the weekly maintenance planning meeting.
8. Responsible for ensuring all parts and spares are available to meet the maintenance plans.
9. Collate and report all maintenance KPI’s, statistics and trackers.
10. Responsible for administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the engineering department.
11. Support the Maintenance Technicians when and if necessary in their activities.
12. To issue permits and control on-site contractors if necessary.
13. Liaise with our ADM center of excellence and our asset care partners.
Your Profile
14. Must be highly proficient in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
15. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
16. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
17. A good level of root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
18. NC/ONC/HNC/C&G in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology is preferred
19. Training and experience in industrial, electrical and mechanical applications
20. Training and experience in process controls and instrumentation applications
21. Detailed understanding of a Manufacturing Plant Operation and Maintenance
