Responsibilities: Identify and target potential new business opportunities in the commercial property insurance market, utilizing various lead generation methods including networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research. Build and nurture a robust pipeline of prospects, consistently expanding the client base and driving revenue growth. Conduct in-depth needs analysis and risk assessments for potential clients, understanding their unique requirements and tailoring insurance solutions to meet their specific needs. Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospects, effectively articulating the value proposition and differentiating our offerings from competitors. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including underwriters and account managers, to develop customised insurance programs and ensure seamless onboarding of new clients. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance professional network and represent the company effectively. Requirements: Proven track record of success in new business development, preferably within the commercial property insurance sector. Strong understanding of insurance products and the ability to effectively communicate their features, benefits, and terms to clients. Excellent sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships and close deals. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively as required. Any relevant industry certifications (e.g., CII, ACII) would be an advantage.
