About Our Client
A well-known retailer is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join their team overseeing a mixture of warehouse and office space in the Hereford area. You will work in a small team ensuring maintenance and cleaning requirements are catered for.
Job Description
As Facilities Coordinator, you will provide Facilities Support to a small team who oversee the maintenance, security, and cleaning for office and warehouse space in Hereford, ensuring that the needs of the business, staff, contractors, and visitors are met. This is a single-site role requiring 5 days on-site per week.
* Log maintenance issues on the organization's CAFM system
* Use of best business practices to control and reduce operational costs
* Book and maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM) records for premises and equipment
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all contractors
* Carry out site inductions for contractors and visitors as required & issue permits for work
* Carry out site inspections; wear and tear, damage, deficiencies, etc.
* Responsible for the management of the cleaning and maintenance teams
* Responsible for the management of the maintenance team
The Successful Applicant
* Experience in an FM Coordinator/Supervisor role
* Ideally a Health & Safety qualification (IOSH)
* Excellent people management skills
* Experience managing external contractors
* Competent with the use of Microsoft Office & administrative tasks
