We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operational Repairs Planner (Scale 6) to join our dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing our operational efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning repairs across various operational departments, ensuring that all maintenance schedules align with organizational objectives. As an Operational Repairs Planner, you will collaborate closely with multiple teams, including maintenance, procurement, and logistics, to develop and implement effective repair strategies that minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Your analytical skills will be critical in assessing repair needs, prioritizing tasks, and optimizing resource allocation to achieve timely and cost-effective solutions. You will also engage with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure that repairs meet quality standards and are completed within allocated budgets. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain repair schedules in alignment with operational demands.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to assess repair needs and resource availability.
Prioritize repair tasks based on urgency, impact, and available resources.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of necessary materials and spare parts.
Analyze repair performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Liaise with external vendors and service providers to facilitate repairs and maintenance services.
Conduct regular reviews of repair processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Proven experience in repair planning or operational management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in using repair management software and tools.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings.
Knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures relevant to operational environments.
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in operations management or a related field.
