About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As Deputy Manager, Supervisor, or equivalent, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in this busy retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and motivate a high-performing team of store staff to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Ensure effective inventory management, visual merchandising, and store presentation to drive sales and maximize profit.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Provide coaching and training to develop team members' skills and knowledge to enhance their performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar Assistant Store Manager position within the retail industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering results-oriented outcomes.
• Experience with inventory management and visual merchandising is desirable.
Working Hours
This is a part-time role, working 32 hours per week from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Estimated Salary
$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
