Are you interested in becoming a senior nurse within the Interventional Radiology Department at the Royal Berkshire Hospital?
A different type of nursing: Interventional radiology is a form of image-guided surgery that's developing rapidly and is an area of nursing that is challenging, different, and immensely satisfying.
Do you enjoy the technical aspects of nursing and are enthusiastic about providing high quality patient care? We are offering a fantastic career opportunity in an exciting, forward-thinking environment that is developing rapidly.
The IR Team is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and enthusiastic senior nurse to join the department. The applicant must be a registered nurse with significant experience in any of the following clinical areas: Angiography, CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Scrubbing, and Recovery.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate commitment to their own personal development and show a keen interest in the future development of the nursing profession within interventional radiology.
As a senior nurse, you will work collaboratively with Radiologists, Radiographers, and Anaesthetists ensuring optimum care is provided across all services. You will positively impact the experience of patients and carers by providing a high standard of clinical care. We are also looking for a forward-thinking, organized individual with excellent communication skills and a positive approach to change.
The department offers an out-of-hours on-call service, which all nurses are required to be part of.
