The Role As a Street Lighting Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of public lighting and electrical street furniture. You will diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, ensuring that all work complies with IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671, 18th Edition). This role requires a flexible and proactive approach, as street lighting is a high-profile public service that must respond quickly to demands and ensure safety at all times. What You Need To be considered for this role, you must be a time-served Electrician with an EAL Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation to BS 7671. A working knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671, 18th Edition) is essential, along with a strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations in electrical work. ERG39 approval is desirable, but training will be provided if needed. You must also hold a full UK Driving Licence (Category C) with CPC, or be willing to obtain it.
