We are thrilled to be advertising for the role of Matron, a residential position which will have a significant role in the running of Boarding at Thomas’s College.
The Resident Matron plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the boarding house while fostering a safe, supportive, and happy environment for the pupils. Working closely with the Director of Boarding and Resident Tutors, the Matron is responsible for the pastoral care and wellbeing of the pupils. As this is a residential role, the successful candidate must live in the boarding house during the week in a newly refurbished, self-contained two-bedroom apartment provided for the position. With our weekly boarding model, the Matron will have time off from Friday evening until Monday morning. This is a full-time, year-round position, and the Matron will also have responsibilities when the boarding house is used for commercial lettings during school holidays.
