Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Fashion and Tailoring Lecturer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students enrolled in our fashion and tailoring programs. This role involves curriculum planning, teaching, and assessing students' progress, as well as contributing to the continuous development of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in fashion design, garment construction, pattern making, and tailoring techniques.
Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry trends and technologies.
Assess and provide feedback on students' work, ensuring timely and constructive evaluation.
Mentor and support students in their academic and professional development.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and activities.
Stay informed about advancements in the fashion industry and integrate relevant updates into teaching practices.
Engage with industry professionals and organizations to provide students with opportunities for practical experience and networking.
Contribute to the promotion and recruitment activities of the fashion and tailoring programs.
