We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of a brand new extra scheme care home. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements while leading a team of healthcare professionals.
Duties
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring that all residents receive exceptional care and support.
2. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, tailored to their specific needs.
3. Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Lead, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality care, fostering a positive working environment.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
6. Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
7. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
8. Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and independence among residents.
Requirements
1. Understanding of current social care legislation, particularly the Care Standards Act 2000 and CQC standards.
2. Proven leadership experience within an assisted living or nursing home setting.
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.
4. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
5. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and care plan development.
