A day in the life of…
As Director of Property & Maintenance for the UK and Europe, you will lead a team of specialists to oversee the safe and sustainable upkeep of a portfolio of hotels across the EMEA division, including all planned preventative maintenance and CAPEX projects. You will lead the Health & Safety Strategy and ensure that robust processes are in place across all properties to align with company and brand standards, and compliance with local legislation.
Reporting into the Vice President of Operations, you will form part of the senior operations team, supporting the shaping and delivery of the Operational strategy that underpins our company vision of creating the World’s new standard in hospitality.
This will be a remote role, with travel across the division as and when required.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in a similar senior role overseeing multiple assets across multiple geographies within a branded environment, preferably within a hospitality, travel, or retail industry. You will hold a recognised engineering qualification in electrical, mechanical, or building services engineering, and ideally be NEBOSH qualified.
The Director of Property & Maintenance will play a pivotal role in the transition of existing new-build assets into the portfolio, therefore significant experience in a project management capacity would be desirable.
As a senior leader in the business, you will have a passion for identifying, nurturing, and developing talent, whilst also fostering strong and credible relationships with key stakeholders and owners.
