Ready for a new challenge? Come and join Maple A surgical ward. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated band 5 staff nurse to join our team.
We need a band 5 registered nurse to work on Aspen, which specialises in managing the pre and post-operative care of surgical patients (vascular, ENT/Maxillo Facial and urology).
The successful applicant will be committed to providing excellent nursing care to our diverse group of patients. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate and increase your knowledge, experience and skills on a fast paced surgical ward.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be committed to providing an excellent standard of nursing care to our diverse group of patients, some who have complex needs. Successful applicants must be able to provide high quality safe nursing care which is driven by patient experience and evidence based practice. Previous experience of nursing surgical specialities or patients with tracheostomy / laryngectomy is desirable, however not essential as training will be given.
