Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a Polish speaking candidate to support our client who speaks Polish. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a positive environment for our clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals are essential.
Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
* Implement and follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other healthcare staff to provide holistic care.
Experience
* Previous experience in home care setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation are beneficial.
* A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering high-quality care is essential.
* Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
