What you'll do:
As an Operational Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the firm's risk management framework. Your responsibilities will include carrying out comprehensive reviews of processes or systems, managing third-party risk assessments, and supporting various risk/control self-assessments. You will also be tasked with producing key risk indicators and management information for the Risk Committee and Board. Your ability to handle information confidentially, manage multiple priorities under time pressure, and maintain relationships with local, functional, and international points of contact will be essential for success in this role.
1. Carry out reviews of and evaluate processes or systems to ensure appropriate risk management oversight
2. Maintain the Firm’s risk registers, gathering operational risk-related data from internal or external resources
3. Manage the Firm’s Third-Party Risk Assessment system and processes
4. Support the completion of team, support function and office specific risk/control self-assessments
5. Assist in the development and completion of risk mitigation strategies
6. Produce risk related management information for the Risk committee and Board
What you bring:
1. Solid understanding of process, risk, and control design concepts
2. Working knowledge of the operations of a professional services organisation
3. Ability to produce standard and ad hoc reports for specific audiences
4. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure
5. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
6. Experience of working in a law firm would be advantageous
