Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a Primary school to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced SEN teaching assistant to work with pupils in KS2 with special educational needs. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to start in October with the potential to go long term.
The ‘good’ graded school has a very good reputation and is looking for a Special Needs teaching assistant who will bring optimism and a positive attitude to the school. The right applicant will have experience working with SEN students, particularly Autism experience, and be prepared to work with children with challenging behaviour. They must be patient, empathetic, and resilient, as well as having a true passion for working with children who need additional support.
The school is looking to interview candidates now for an October start.

* SEN Teaching Assistant role to start on a full-time basis
* Long term contract
* School based in Worthing
* Monday – Friday
* 8.30-3.30pm
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Have experience working with children in a classroom setting
* Be willing to apply for a child only DBS
* Have excellent behaviour management skills
* Be calm, caring, and resilient
* SEN experience
