Ensuring products are stored safely and labelled correctly. Ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders. Assist in loading/unloading with appropriate apparatus and following safety protocol. Inspect stock for defects or damage, reporting any concerns to the shift manager. Occasionally assisting customers at the Trade Counter. Maintain accurate records of inventory. Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies. Report Health and Safety concerns immediately, following the reporting procedure. Rely on appropriate equipment/tools for the job, following the correct system. Be aware of, and participate in, the appropriate training to become multi-skilled. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in your area. This role may include other duties as reasonably required. Your rotational shift pattern: Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm 30-minute break You: Valid and current Fork Lift, Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence Industry knowledge and experience (desirable). Knowledge of our competitors, and our group companies (desirable). Basic knowledge and understand of general Health & Safety. Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre. Familiarity with goods-in and goods-out, inventory and general logistics. Happy to carry out manual handling duties as required. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment. Flexible attitude toward varying working hours (rotational shifts, or peak sales). Excellent customer service skills. First Aid Qualification (desirable).
