About The Role:As a Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all security operations to ensure the safety and security of the site. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage a team of security personnel, coordinate security measures, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Advertising Location:WatfordEmployment Contract Type:PermanentHours Per Week:37.5 As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures Manage and lead a team of security personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations Act as the primary point of contact for clients and management regarding security matters Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities Ensure the correct escalation of incidents in line with the incident escalation process, maintaining accurate records Oversee the operation of security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, VMS, Intruder/Panic Alarms, BMS, ANPR, radio, and phone systems Coordinate and deploy security resources effectively to handle incidents and emergencies Implement emergency procedures in accordance with the Incident and Emergency Plan Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines Provide regular reports on security operations and performance to management Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive security coverage The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: You must have the right to work in the UK Extensive experience in a security management role SIA - Security Management License preferred Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills Proactive and adaptable, able to respond to changing demands and priorities Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance How to Apply: If you are interested in joining a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people then please click apply and register your interest You can also sign up to our job alerts when registering which will notify you when other suitable vacancies are available.
