Are you ready to make waves in offshore design and engineering? We’re looking for a skilled and ambitious Naval Architect to take the helm on a variety of exciting marine projects. From initial concept to final build, you’ll play a key role in shaping high-performance vessels and marine structures that meet the toughest standards for safety, efficiency, and innovation.
What you’ll be doing
1. Designing innovative offshore and marine structures with a sharp focus on performance, stability, and compliance
2. Running structural and hydrodynamic analyses using the latest simulation tools
3. Managing complex design projects and collaborating across teams to keep things on track
4. Ensuring all work meets rigorous safety and regulatory standards
5. Creating detailed technical reports and documentation for stakeholders
6. Working hand-in-hand with engineers, drafters, and fabricators to bring designs to life
7. Helping build the design structure and mentoring junior staff alongside the Engineering Manager
What we’re looking for
1. A sharp technical mind with deep knowledge of naval architecture and structural engineering
2. Strong experience with CAD (AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS), FEA tools (ANSYS, FES2000, STAAD), and preferably marine simulation software like ORCAFlex
3. Someone who thrives on solving problems, thinking critically, and delivering smart, innovative solutions
4. Excellent communicator who can work across teams and clearly present technical ideas
5. A hands-on team player who can adapt, collaborate, and lead when needed
6. A background in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience
Bonus points for chartered or licensed status, but support is available if you're working towards it!
This is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of meaningful, complex projects and shape the future of marine design with a talented, supportive team. If you’re passionate about marine engineering and ready to push boundaries, we want to hear from you.
