An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll & HR Administrator to join our Payroll & HR team on a part-time basis. Working predominantly with our Payroll & Benefits Manager, whilst providing administration support to the HR Team, your role will be to ensure that all payrolls and administration for new starters, contractual changes and leavers is processed accurately, so that staff are paid correctly and on time.

Experience & Background
You will be a friendly, approachable and forward thinking individual with previous administrative experience and the ability to work within a fast paced and busy environment, managing conflicting priorities. You will have excellent ICT skills, an eye for detail and work with a high level of accuracy.
Duties
Will include:
1. Processing payroll from beginning to end in accordance with departmental procedures
2. Processing leavers, holiday payments, auto enrolment and all statutory requirements
3. Administrating benefits and liaising with benefit suppliers and agents
4. Liaising with line managers to ensure submission deadlines are met
5. Monitoring the payroll inbox for queries & acting as the first responder for enquiries from staff
6. Ad hoc payroll payments and inputting all statutory changes
7. Performing any other tasks associated with Payroll & Benefits
8. Supporting the HR Team with administration duties
Hours of Work
This post works year-round both during when the school is open and students are present and during school holiday and closure periods for 22.5 hours each week, between Monday to Friday. There is some flexibility to the actual days worked and start and end time, which can be discussed at interview.
Salary
£16,105 per annum based on the above hours and weeks of work, which is pro-rata of the full time equivalent salary of £26,842 per annum.
Pre-Appointment Checks
All candidates will undergo a Safeguarding Suitability Interview and application for an Enhanced DBS and Barred List check and be asked to provide evidence they are eligible to work in the UK, on an on-going basis, at the shortlist stage of the selection process.
