We are seeking 2 highly motivated and enthusiastic engineering students to join our Chassis and Engine Design teams for a 12-month industrial placement. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in either our Chassis or Powertrain Design team, working on cutting-edge projects that contribute to our motorsport programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the design and development of components and systems for high-performance vehicles.
2. Utilize CAD software to create detailed models and drawings.
3. Conduct simulations and analyses to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
4. Support the preparation of technical documentation and design reports.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs seamlessly.
6. Participate in testing and validation activities.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions.
Who Are We Looking For?
1. Currently studying for an accredited Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related degree program.
2. Strong interest in motorsport and high-performance engineering.
3. Proficiency in CAD software.
4. Basic understanding of design principles and engineering fundamentals.
5. Understanding of technical drawing standards and tolerancing.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
8. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development.
