What you’ll be doing
7. Support Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS, by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day
8. Work as part of a larger team, to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands i.e. hygiene standards and room preparation
9. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
10. Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What we’re looking for
11. Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
12. Previous experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar)
13. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
14. Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
15. Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
16. Ability to be flexible and adaptable
