ADMISSIONS OFFICER
Required April 2025
37.5 hours per week
£36,365 to £40,600 pa inclusive
We are seeking an experienced and personable Admissions Officer to join our dedicated team and who will represent the school in dealings with prospective families. Reporting to the Head of Admissions, the post holder plays a key role in the promotion of the School, acting as the first point of contact for all new admissions enquiries, building supportive and constructive relationships with prospective families to provide a seamless admissions process, from the organisation of assessments through to the student’s first day at the school.
The postholder will be fully committed to the delivery of exceptional customer service, working with integrity, kindness, transparency and generosity of spirit, in sympathy with the School’s ethos. The post holder will work closely, flexibly and collaboratively with all members of the External Relations Team, senior members of the teaching staff, the Head’s EA, and operations and administrative teams.
You will have a good working knowledge of MS Office (including databases), be able to manage complex administration processes and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Building a rapport with prospective parents by email, telephone and face-to-face is a key part of the role. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines as well as attention to detail and a sense of humour are essential. Familiarity with school environments is desirable but not essential.
