As the Control Systems Engineer, you will be part of their R&D team, being the "go to" person when it comes to Control Systems (PLC, SCADA, Server & Networking maintenance), coaching the technicians and project team associates.

As the Control Systems Engineer, you will be part of the team that ensures these are suitable for production.
Description
1. Accountable for area compliance to company Electrical Policy within the R&D Pilot Plant, lead the improvement of standards and ensure that all works are completed as per policy.
2. Designated Electrical Duty Holder or Machinery Safety Duty Holder (No previous experience required).
3. Ownership of the control systems maintenance and reliability agenda.
4. Responsible for availability and reliability of pilot plant process equipment.
5. Provide skilled diagnostic test & repair for pilot plant facilities; modifications, minor installation works and replacements.
6. Provide in-depth technical (primarily electrical) support to R&D process development engineers to promote electrical safety compliance for all new and trial equipment brought onto site via experience and influencing skills.
7. Accountable for Contractor Management & Permit To Work for the R&D Pilot Plant (all trades).
8. Support the onsite H&S programs by actively being involved in site programs.
9. Own the planning, organising and upkeep of preventative maintenance schedule (via SAP) to maximise performance of all plant and ensure a safe working environment for all tasks carried out.
Profile
1. You will be an electrical-bias engineer, with a focus on control systems/automation, as well as:
2. Recognised Electrical engineering qualification (HNC, Level 3 minimum).
3. Significant experience of PLC, SCADA applications (Competent to carry out diagnostic testing & repair, modifications, & minor installations, minor repair & replacements).
4. 18th Edition.
5. Ideally, qualified to C&G 2391 (Test & Inspection).
6. Good understanding of Safe Systems of Work.
