About the Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have additional needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive both academically and socially. Responsibilities include: Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. Providing one-on-one or small group support to pupils with SEND. Encouraging positive behavior and fostering a nurturing learning atmosphere. Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development. Collaborating with staff and parents to ensure pupils receive the best possible care and support. This role offers the opportunity to join the school on a temporary basis through Teaching Personnel, with the potential to transition to a permanent contract after a successful probation period. Key Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have: Professional or personal experience working with children with SEND or young children. A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children with diverse needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A proactive attitude and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
