This very exciting opportunity has arisen to join a progressive tech company based in West Sussex. Apex8 encompasses a group of companies which deal with the marketing, pricing and purchase of thousands of vehicles every month. We are the fastest growing company in our sector and we have seen rapid growth over the past 5 years. We focus on lead generation and develop our own products and tools to provide a first-rate user experience allowing us to process over 80,000 enquiries each month. We are looking for an exceptional UX/UI Designer & Full-Stack Developer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who not only excels in user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) but can also implement their designs without relying on external development resources.
About the Role:
Youll be working across our in-house sales agency software, customer-facing websites, and platforms used by both trade and commercial customers. Your work will directly impact efficiency, sales performance, and user experience, making our platforms more intuitive, high-converting, and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
UX/UI Design & CRO Optimise interfaces for usability, engagement, and conversions.
Front-End & Back-End Development Implement changes directly across platforms.
A/B Testing & Analytics Use data-driven insights to refine designs and improve performance.
Software Optimisation Improve the experience of our internal sales agency tools.
Mobile & Responsive Design Ensure seamless performance across devices.
What Were Looking For:
Strong UX/UI & CRO skills with a proven track record of increasing conversions.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) .
Full-stack experience, including knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, or equivalent) .
Experience working on high-volume commercial websites and business software .
Ability to work independently and implement design changes without reliance on external developers .
Strong understanding of A/B testing, heatmaps, and analytics tools
