Your role as the Procurement and Logistics Lead is a key position within the Supply Chain Department, and your main aim is to oversee the procurement department while supporting and developing the team.
You will:
* Take ownership of sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendors
* Create, deliver, and monitor KPIs relating to cost, OTD, quality, service, and continuity of supply
* Prepare RFQs, manage tender processes, and ensure robust evaluation criteria are in place
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers
* Expedite purchased parts
* Ensure issues such as returns and shortages are processed effectively and in a timely manner
* Ensure quality and performance of supplier materials/parts meet acceptable standards
* Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are cleared through customs
* Engage in continuous improvement activities
You will need:
* Ideally +3 years of experience
* Strong organizational, communication, and IT skills
* A lean thinker
