This role will have overall responsibility for all Logistics within the company, implementing best practise and compliance with current legislation regarding exports.
Benefits: Annual salary reviews Life cover (3 x salary) Genuine internal development opportunities 20 days annual leave Bank Holidays Xmas shut down Pension scheme Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday (1-hour lunch) Shipping & Logistics Coordinator duties: Processing daily despatches and correct documentation in a timely manner Negotiate rates with current suppliers and continually try to engage with alternative logistic solutions Building and maintaining a professional relationship with new and existing suppliers Collaborate with Operations team to optimise the flow of orders from preparation to shipment Ensure all duties and taxes are correct and in accordance with the shipment Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients’ criteria Review and advise relevant Incoterms and tariff codes Review and validate export documentation Reconciling supplier invoices Reconciling EU VAT Respond to customer enquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channel Delivering and embedding continuous improvement Required skills & experience: Knowledge of Import processes Knowledge of Tariff Codes and Incoterms Excellent verbal and written communication skills If you would like to discuss this Shipping & Logistics Coordinator role in more detail, then do get in touch with Lewis at Elevation Recruitment Group now
