Responsibilities
for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
1. Oversee contractual agreements and supply chain relationships – NEC and FIDIC contracts
2. Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and required actions
3. Handle project variations, certifications, and compliance processes
4. Support site operations, cost management, and financial assessments
5. Maintain client relationships and negotiate contractual terms
6. Assess risks, deadlines, and financial implications of projects
7. Provide reporting, analysis, and strategic recommendations
8. Contribute to tendering, estimating, and commercial viability assessments
9. Mentor and support QS teams and work alongside the Ops Manager to promote high collaboration and support culture
Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
10. 5 + years’ experience in a similar role or a hands-on QS looking for a step up
11. Ideally a contractor background working on multi-utility projects
12. Strong understanding of NEC and FIDIC contract suites
13. Excellent knowledge of contract law and agreements
14. IT Literate, MS Office, MS Project
15. Experience with mentoring and leading teams
16. BSc/BEng in Quantity Surveying
17. Full UK Driving License
Package offered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
18. Salary £55,000 (depending on experience)
19. Car allowance paid monthly on top of salary
20. 35 holidays (incl. Bank Holidays)
