Job Description
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Derry/Londonderry as a Live In Care Professional. Working as a Live In Care Professional, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help keep them independent in their own home.
You will live with them, supporting them to meet all their daily needs whilst ensuring their safety and promoting their dignity.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with personal care needs
* Prompting & administering medication
* Meal & food preparation including cooking
* Safe moving and handling
* Social outings, shopping trips, and attending appointments
* Providing companionship
* Light household duties such as cleaning & laundry
* Encouraging independence where possible
* Actively engage with clients in meaningful activities, conversations, and social interactions, promoting mental and emotional well-being
* Effective communication skills both written and verbal English
Minimum 12 months experience in a paid Care setting. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be dependable, trustworthy, and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable spending time in the company of others.
Pay Rates £800 - £900 per week.

Hours
Our Live-In Care Professionals typically live with a client for a 7 days on, 7 days off shift pattern which allows flexibility around your home life.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum of 12 months previous experience within a care setting.
* Empathy: A compassionate and sincere approach, with a deep desire to make a positive difference in others' lives.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong, meaningful relationships with clients and their families.
* Patience: The capacity to manage challenging situations with composure and empathy, offering consistent support and reassurance.
* Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to the changing needs of clients and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
* Driving: A Full UK valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Additional Information
As a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with three meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay, and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
