Leader Education are recruiting a KS3 Teacher to work at a small Secondary School based in Newcastle. The ideal Teacher will have QTS as well as experience in working with children with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) on a 1:1 basis. The school caters for children with SEMH difficulties in Key Stage 3 and 4. The school's curriculum is considered as "broad and aspirational" and their relationships with students are described as "positive and good-natured."
The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30am until 4pm and is a long-term position.
The successful candidate will have:
* A QTS is mandatory
* A DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one
* Skills to deliver lessons in various subjects
* Strong classroom management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students
* Proficiency in utilising technology for teaching and learning purposes
* Collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school leaders to share resources and best practices
* Teach engaging, interactive, and inclusive lessons that cater to different learning needs and styles
