An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Younger Persons Training Officer to join our team at Ludlow Foyer. A big part of this role is around engagement so you need be able to build good working relationships with our young people. Your focus will be on youth engagement, employment, education and training, this will include planning and running regular resident meetings, workshops and activities in and outside of the hub, working with our young people by listening to “youth voice” building young people’s confidence, and breaking down barriers to employment and education for young people that may have experienced adverse life experiences. You should be confident and have a can-do attitude to enable you to work closely with partners and educational providers to aid in the growth of the service through new links and creating opportunities in a rural area. If yes, this role could be for you The hours are based on a 6- day Rota on shifts Monday – Saturday and shifts are 9am to 5.30pm, 10am to 6.30pm or 1.30pm to 10pm.
