A Day in the Life
As the VP of Product, Enterprise at Genomics plc, you will lead the strategic and operational efforts for our Enterprise client segment, which includes life insurers, employers, partners, payers, providers, and governments. Your role encompasses the development and execution of our company's product strategy and vision, aiming to solidify our position as a leading name in the Enterprise space.
You will lead our Health Insights Product team, guiding the organisation through its next growth phase. This position suits a strategic leader with a deep understanding of enterprise clients, a successful commercial history, and the ability to drive product differentiation and innovation.
Collaborating closely with the Commercial, Technology, and broader Leadership teams, you will ensure that the voice of the customer is understood and integrated into a compelling product positioning strategy. Your goal will be to drive product differentiation and innovation, ultimately enhancing our market presence and customer satisfaction.
Who You Are
* Proven track record as a Head of Product/VP or similar leadership role in digital health, life sciences, consumer health, or other consumer-focused businesses with significant experience in product development in B2B2C or D2C environments.
* Demonstrated success in launching, scaling, and adapting products in the direct-to-consumer market, particularly in driving consumer product uptake in the US.
* Broad understanding of privacy considerations in healthcare data.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
* Ability and willingness to understand the science behind using genetics for better health outcomes.
* Strong strategic thinking, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Keen interest in a hands-on role while leading strategy and overall vision.
* Preferable: Experience or significant understanding of the US and UK healthcare systems.
Key Accountabilities
Product vision and leadership:
* Leverage our scientific capabilities to evolve and expand our product offerings in the enterprise space.
* Make strategic decisions regarding resource allocation, prioritisation, and investments in product features and enhancements to maximise value and ROI.
* Develop and communicate a clear product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals in the Enterprise space.
User Engagement and Customer Value:
* Lead the design and further development of our B2B2C product to:
o Increase user uptake, engagement, and satisfaction.
o Increase value for our Enterprise customers by maximising impact on health outcomes and increasing the connection with and positive sentiments of their members.
* Set the stage for wider adoption by continuously improving the user experience and addressing customer feedback.
* Explore and implement strategies to drive engagement in the broader healthcare segment.
Delivery:
* Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the product team.
* Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of product initiatives.
* Implement best practices in product management and agile methodologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Integration of product and technology:
* Work in close partnership with our technology team to seamlessly integrate our product solutions with our technology platform.
* Identify and evaluate 'build/buy/partner' decisions to enhance product features and functionality in line with revenue opportunities across the enterprise segment.
Team Leadership and Development:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
* Drive team engagement, recruitment, and professional development initiatives.
* Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement and growth.
