About us:
Our purpose-built, specialist Neurological Care Centre, Dee View Court is based in Kincorth, Aberdeen. We care for people aged 18 and over with a range of neurological conditions that get worse over time – such as Huntington’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease – as well as those with conditions resulting from a brain or spinal injury or stroke. Our purpose is to provide our residents with the tools they need to optimise their independence and support their physical, emotional and social needs.
About the role:
This is a 6 month fixed term position. You will be part of an expert team who focus on health, wellbeing and what each person can do, not what they can’t. We support people to live their lives as fully as possible. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of high standards of personalised nursing care for our residents. Our RNs lead the care team in providing the best possible quality care and support to service users and their carers/family.
About you:
This role is perfect for experienced Registered Nurses that hold current NMC registration and who are looking to extend their skills and learning in a supportive and specialist environment.
In return we offer:
• Competitive enhanced pay for nights (30%), weekends (30%) and public holidays (60%)
• Company pension scheme
• 27 days holiday - rising to 33 with length of service plus bank holidays
• Free uniform
• Employee Networks - LGBTQ+, Ethnic Diversity and Equality, People with Disabilities, and Women and Non Binary Individuals
Subject to satisfactory PVG membership.
For more of our employee benefits please visit our website: Sue Ryder Careers.
We actively encourage applications from people from all backgrounds to help us provide the best possible experience for the people who use our services and continue to make Sue Ryder a great place to work. We are particularly interested in increasing applications from the global majority, LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities as they are currently underrepresented in our organisation.
Later this year, Care Concern Group will take over the ownership of Dee View Court, Aberdeen, and all staff employed by Sue Ryder at that service will transfer to the Care Concern Group.
