About the Role As the Registered Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care and empowering young people to achieve positive outcomes. With the home already Ofsted registered and poised for full occupancy, you’ll lead with the support of a collaborative leadership team dedicated to fostering excellence, compassion, and effective care. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a leader with: A deep understanding of Ofsted regulations and experience in residential childcare. The ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team to deliver exceptional care. A passion for making a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable children. Key Requirements Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or actively working towards it). QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent. Experience: Proven success as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager in children’s residential care. Experience managing homes rated “Good” or “Outstanding” by Ofsted. Key Responsibilities Inspire and Lead : Motivate your team to deliver the highest standards of care for young people with EBD. Ensure Compliance : Uphold Ofsted regulations, driving positive outcomes for young people and the home. Develop Tailored Care Plans : Create and oversee individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies. Collaborate : Work with social services, healthcare providers, and specialist agencies to deliver holistic care. Manage Growth : Oversee occupancy rates, financial performance, and the home’s long-term development.
