Our client is a leading supplier of compressed air systems across the UK selling through a range of distributors. They are recognised as the gold standard in the compressed air industry, supplying innovative, energy efficient air compression / air treatment products and system solutions to leading manufacturers. A vacancy has arisen for an Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands. This role will be 70% managing existing clients and 30% new business development, calling on clients in the field. The Candidate: • You MUST have experience of selling air compressors • An understanding of how to develop new and existing customers. • The ability to understand the technical complexities of the company’s products and explain their benefits. • The ability to sell products and support contracts to new and existing clients. • Knowledge of customers based in this area • Ability to record and use sales information effectively • Ability to discuss technical issues knowledgeably • Willingness to learn new things • Tenacity
