Technical Manager
Location: North Acton
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Diamond Search Recruitment are seeking a dynamic individual to oversee the technical operations and maintain the highest standards of product excellence. As the Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in sustaining the bakery's reputation for quality by ensuring that all products meet strict food safety and quality guidelines.
Responsibilities:
1. Thorough inspections and audits to ensure adherence to food safety standards.
2. Maintain all records as requested by HACCP & CCPs.
3. Maintain good hygiene standards in all factories.
4. CCP verification and validation.
5. Manage Micro schedule.
6. Manage site taste panel.
7. Maintain the traceability system for any product produced.
8. Manage Recipe Analysis and Nutrition Fact Labelling.
9. Create, update and maintain specifications including retailers.
10. Carry out internal audits PRP / GMP / SOP audits, communicating results with the site team.
11. Participate in the HACCP, TACCP and VACCP team and delegate as necessary.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a technical management role within the food industry, preferably in bakery.
2. Previous experience in BRC audits.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
4. Minimum Level 3 of both HACCP and Food Safety.
5. Knowledge and experience of retailer manufacturing standards.
