Time Recruitment is looking to recruit a dynamic and driven Senior Nurse to join a private hospital run by an innovative company that is a leader in delivering behavioural care to over 25,000 people each year across their 350 services.
The company has a long-established history and an unrivalled reputation for making a real and lasting difference for each person who uses the service. They are the leading mental health rehabilitation and recovery partner to the NHS.
The role consists of the Senior Nurse supporting male and female patients across their low secure and medium secure units. The service users have a diagnosis of mental illness and associated challenging behaviours, and the aim is to develop a care pathway to promote recovery, allowing them to co-produce their own treatment plans.
The facility includes a fitness room, therapy kitchen, games and leisure rooms, courtyard and grounds, computer suite, and community resources, with patients leaving the service when required. The following therapies are offered:
1. Mentalisation-based treatment (MBT)
2. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
3. Schema therapy
4. Motional interviewing
5. Cognitive analytic therapy (CAT)
6. Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)
The team at this facility consists of a wider multidisciplinary team who cater to each individual's needs, including psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, Staff Nurses, and recovery support workers.
Senior Nurse Requirements:
1. NMC PIN with 12 months post-qualification experience
2. Excellent team working skills and ability to work independently while committing to improvement and quality
3. A commitment to patient care and a good understanding of recovery models
4. Registered Nurse
