Salary: Up to £100,000 + Package
We are seeking an Operations Manager / Operations Director to oversee and drive the operational success of a leading façade and cladding contractor. This is a senior-level role, responsible for managing project delivery, site operations, logistics, and health & safety across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in façades, cladding, or construction operations and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects while driving efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all operational aspects of the business, including production, project management, logistics, and on-site teams.
* Define and implement company-wide strategies and objectives in collaboration with senior leadership.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of façade and cladding projects from design to completion.
* Identify areas for greater efficiency, cost management, and resource optimisation to drive operational performance improvements.
* Ensure full compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to support business growth.
* Provide strategic leadership to align operational processes with the company’s long-term business goals.
* Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the company.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as an Operations Director or Senior Operations Manager within the Façade, Cladding, or Construction industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and build a positive workplace culture.
* In-depth knowledge of façade and cladding systems, construction processes, and industry regulations.
* A strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance, with a track record of successfully delivering projects.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
* A results-driven mindset, with the ability to optimise processes and increase efficiency.
* Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
