We are looking for an experienced manufacturing technician for our Fife based client who support several industries including defence, aerospace, oil and gas and automotive. This role is based Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
* Follow detailed manufacturing documentation and processes.
* Use quality hand tools and precision instruments, including crimp tools, soldering irons, microscopes, and dispensers.
* Perform cable hand-laying, binding, and lacing techniques.
* Utilise electrical and pneumatic equipment, such as insulation strippers, heat guns, and curing devices.
* Inspect in-process work to ensure adherence to exacting quality standards.
* Work in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protected environment.
* Collaborate with Process Engineers to develop new products, assembly instructions, and manufacturing techniques.
* Produce prototypes and samples for evaluation.
