Full-time, Permanent, Contracted Monday - Friday (term time only) Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 Salary: £90 - £95 per day Here at Long-Term Teachers we have an exciting opportunity to work as a Behaviour Mentor, working within an alternative provision setting in either Exeter or Tiverton. In this role, you will play a key park in helping students who face challenges in mainstream education, special school environments, or are transitioning back from out-of-county placements. Our schools’ approach is to provide individualised support, tailored to each student’s needs. This includes 1:1 mentoring, thematic learning experiences and personalised timetables designed to build resilience and foster rapid academic progress. Both in-class and experiential learning are structured to engage students and support their development. Essential requirements: Current DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Confidence in working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups Relevant experience with children or adults with special educational needs A strong passion for working with young people in SEN settings Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Minimum level 2 qualification or equivalent This role is ideal for individuals with experience in SEN settings and a commitment to furthering their skills in this area. Those with backgrounds in healthcare, support work, or sports coaching are also encouraged to apply.
