Job Summary
To sustain growth and to support our existing customer base in the United Kingdom and Europe, the company is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Specialist to work remotely and travel across UK and Europe.
Responsibilities:
* Drive business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities, while effectively promoting and presenting NanoFCM products to academic and industry clients.
* Leverage various sources such as scientific journals, conference lists, and social media to identify and qualify potential leads.
* Cultivate and strengthen customer relationships through consistent communication and proactive management. Maintain regular updates and input into the CRM system to track customer progress.
* Mobilise resources including Applications team for onsite and remote demonstrations, conferences, and seminars.
* Actively engage in sales/marketing events, including trade shows and conferences. Travel around 50% of the time.
* Provide regular reports to the Director, outlining progress, key developments and risks.
Qualifications:
* A Master or phD degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Cell Biology, etc.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales of capital life science instruments to academia and biopharma. Experience in characterisation of extracellular vesicles, viruses, or nanoparticle-based drug delivery is highly desirable.
* Proven success in market development across the UK and EU, with a preference for experience in the DACH or/and Nordic regions.
* Field experience preferred but not compulsory.
* Driving license preferred but not compulsory.
