Compliance Officer Health related charity Temporary, 4 months £16.48 - £19.23 per hour, plus holiday pay Surrey - Hybrid, ideally 1-2 days in office, and remote working Working 3-5 days per week, flexible Interview asap Start asap Charity People are thrilled to be partnering with a health-related charity based in Surrey to find them a Compliance Officer to go in and help manage the policy side of their operations, working alongside and reporting to the Compliance Manager and Compliance and Quality Consultant. This is a typical compliance and risk role, focusing on improving systems and policies in the charity, to achieve good outcomes for the governing bodies, and improving the overall needs of the people at its heart. There are lots of existing policies and risk assessments in place already, and what they would like is for a safe and experienced pair of hands to join them to effectively manage workload, make any amendments or improvements needed to be made, to drive change in the quality and systems area of the business. This will include pulling and gathering information from existing policies and having approval and sign off, with the support of managers across the organisation, as well as write up audits. You will proactively source information, action any changes/ improvements to be made, and monitor processes and procedures, ensuring quality assurance. The charity has recently moved onto a new centralised compliance system, called RADAR so if you have experience of this it would be an advantage, as well as having a background in health and social care. If this role sounds of interest and you are available to start in December, then please do reach out asap, I will be sending candidates across on a rolling basis. Interviews will be online within the next two weeks. Charity People actively promotes equality, diversity and inclusion. We match charity needs with the skills and experience of candidates, irrespective of age, disability (including hidden disabilities), gender, gender identity or gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation. We do this because we know greater diversity will lead to even greater results for the charities we work with.
