Job summary Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist to work as part of the friendly and welcoming team in the Haematology and Blood Transfusion laboratory at this busy hospital. We have XN9000's and Werfen ACLTOP analysers in Haematology and Biorad IH1000's in Blood transfusion. Working in Haematology & Blood Transfusion, you will undertake specialist analyses and routine work of the Blood Sciences department. Once fully trained you will work on the shift system working across the two disciplines. Working in line with UKAS standards and within the BSQR using our SOP's. The department uses XN9000's and Werfen ACLTOP analysers in Haematology and Biorad IH1000's in Blood Transfusion. It is essential that you have completed the Certificate of Competence to be considered for this post.
