We are looking for a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Area Coordinator to work nights at our Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) in Bristol. You will be responsible for all on-shift operational and front-line auxiliary activities that support the successful delivery of KPI’s for a specific Business Unit within the Logistics Operation. Additionally, you will support the Area Managers to provide a safe and respectful work environment delivering outstanding service to internal and external customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● You will be responsible for on shift operational & front line inventory activities that supports the successful delivery of a specified work area within the CFC, providing outstanding service and escalating any people, production, safety or quality issues to CFC Area Managers.
● Communication and Engagement – ensuring this is delivered consistently, clearly and effectively to promote good working relationships and levels of engagement
● Proactively reporting production issues, ensuring these are identified and resolved effectively to minimise disruption to productivity levels
● Allocation & deployment – capture employee headcounts for a specific work area, ensuring employees are deployed & managed fairly when on shift.
● Ensuring compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and liaising with food technology regarding any legislative, quality or supplier issues.
Please note: This role is 45 hour per week
About you:You will be Living and breathing our 5 Pillars - Safety, People, Customer Quality and Delivery. With experience of working in a FMGC or 24/7 operational environment, you will need to have good numerical skills and the ability to work within a target/KPI driven framework. You will be PC literate and be able to use Excel, Google Operating systems and Microsoft. Strong verbal and written communication (essential with the ability to interact positively with all levels) and numeracy skills are a must and a passion for dealing with people and a focus to achieve employee satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance are preferred and previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment are essential. Previous management skills and knowledge of Warehouse Management systems would be preferred.
