Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated ‘GOOD’ secondary school in Sandwell. The successful Science Teacher will be teaching all three sciences across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), delivering lessons that align with the National Curriculum. This is a full-time role starting after Easter and continuing until July.
The Science Teacher role:
* Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking.
* Teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
* Ensuring high standards of teaching and learning in line with the National Curriculum.
* Implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
* Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Working collaboratively with the department to enhance student engagement.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
* Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
* Excellent behaviour management skills.
* A passion for science and inspiring student achievement.
