We are looking to recruit a Multi Agency Safeguarding Team (MASH) Social Worker within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that is looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. Southampton City Council is embedding a systemic approach and is currently undergoing a number of changes focused on reducing caseloads and improving outcomes for families. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Southampton City Council.
Main duties include:
1. Extensive experience of section 47 investigations.
2. Risk management.
3. Screening referrals.
4. Able to work autonomously.
5. Investigating any concerns of neglect through section 47 investigations.
6. Clear understanding of the principle and function of a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub.
7. Evidence of ability to use analytical skills to determine positive outcomes for children and young people within tight timescales.
8. Previous experience of working with partner agencies to gather essential information.

Minimum Requirements:
1. SWE Registration
2. 1 year post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
