The Opportunity Medivet have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Horley. Horley is a well established and good-sized practice with a dedicated support team, good clinical standards and an established client base. A re-brand has also recently taken place as part of our pride in clinics scheme. Our modern, spacious practice with brand new theatre and digital dental processor is equipped with a full in-house lab, ultrasound machine, dental x-ray, radiography, 2 consult rooms, fully refurbished, large kennel space. We also boast off-road parking, a secure garden area and staff kitchen. We also have fantastic transport links and a nearby train station with access to London and the south coast. You will be supported in your role by the Practice Manager as well as the rest of the team,. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week over four days with 1:6 weekends and no OOH. Engage, mentor and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising these in the most effective way. Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of any patient needing out of hours or enhanced care. Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community. Your Skills and Experience RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon. Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team. Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills. Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture. Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
